Paul furminger — co-owner, creative director

Paul Furminger got his start at Rainmaker Digital Pictures as a VFX editor on features like I, Robot, Elektra, Firewall, The Da Vinci Code, and Tropic Thunder as well as many TV shows, like The Collector, Stargate: Atlantis and Dead Like Me. He began editing and directing commercials, which eventually led to directing work on Video Game Trailers and Cinematics.

Attracted by the storytelling opportunities as well as the varied wild west approach to creating content for Video Games, Paul directed live action, keyframe animation, motion capture, voice over, motion design, mixed media, and everything in between as he honed his vision for over a decade. During that time, he helmed projects for Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, Electronic Arts, Square Enix and Microsoft (to name a few). He also continued to develop as an editor, as supervising editor of the Mortal Kombat Legacy web series and on music videos for groups like Jabbawockeez.

In 2017, Paul worked as a vendor-side Visual Effects Supervisor on season 3 of SyFy's Dark Matter, designing space battles, including the epic series grand finale. In 2018, he began developing and directing projects for Robert Kirkman's Skybound Entertainment and Wind Sun Sky Entertainment. He is the director of episode 2 and episode 6 for Season 1 of Amazon Prime's Invincible, based on the long-running comic series. He was also the series CGI director for the entire first season. Paul is also the series CGI director for the upcoming PsiCops, created for Adult Swim Canada. In 2022, Paul won a Leo Award for Best Direction in an Animated Series for his work on Invincible.
